Speaking of prevention... the tea I've been working on worked. They locked me up, but she didn't come out.

I'm careful not to make promises, and I still want them to lock me up again next time just in case...

But it is an improvement, yeah.

I understand and I think that's probably a good idea. But the fact that you're going to be able to avoid doing or saying anything like... the last few times. I mean, that's got to be a weight off your shoulders.

yes and no. The things I did still haunt me, and there will always be the fear that one of these days something might go wrong.

...but it is an improvement, yes.

Speaking of improvements, things are much better with Hanako and I.

Hallelujah. That was going to be my next question. I... might speak to her at some point, but not yet.

I need to make peace with Karuika before I bother to speak to his friends.

Honestly, I'd leave her be until everything has settled down if we get to that point. I'm proud of how well she's handled everything so far, really. She's been working to make barriers to help keep shelters and the hospital safe.

Actually, when I say things are better between us... I mean a lot better. I guess... well. We're a couple now.

[He wasn't going to go into the thing with Karu - That whole situation weighed on him still. Hopefully there was a peaceful or at least amicable ending to it.]

[Well, she wouldn't have blamed Karuika for the venom he had for her. But that wasn't really important. Her eyes widened and she grinned.]

Yeah, that's true. There really isn't. We still don't know which way things will go, after all.

No... not really, but you worried a whole hell of a lot about what she thought of you, a little more than a friend might. It sort of clicked you 'might' have had a thing for her, maybe a little. It's not like you really give off the raging romantic vibe.

Haha! Raging Romantic? No! No, not at all. There's not much that would be called 'raging' about me and certainly not that aspect. But you're rigjht. I've cared about her that way for a long time. Since before coming here. Though, I'm glad I wasn't too overt about it. It would have been weird to find out people had guessed before I was able to say anything.

Heh, well we've also talked about stuff related to this a little, so that probably has a part in all this. I kind of doubt you talk about these things often.

Well, there you have it. I'm glad you were sitting down before I'd said anything - I would have felt somewhat responsible had you fallen over from the shock and done yourself harm.

Yeah, gotta keep my health up before I go seeing Eridan. That whole kismesis thing's violent, you know? And besides, you've got more important things than to heal me up after a fall on my ass.

Good luck with seeing him - Hopefully everyone has had enough fighting and you guys can just relax a little bit before any... Kismesis stuff happens.
