I do forgive you. I know it's not your fault. I wanted to say that first before anything else. Whatever was going through her head, I came out alright anyway and I'm not one to hold a grudge.
Having said that, I think if we're going to continue being friends, we might need to work out a way for me to make sure I'm not being fooled. I took your invitation in good faith and she was good enough to make me think it was You asking. Which is, if I'm being honest, kind of scary. I was actually really happy you invited me over - Quite a shock to then be chloroformed and tied to a medievil bacon slicer.
In short, I'm not angry at you or anything. And I don't want to abandon our friendship. But if you have any ideas on how we could make this safer, I'd be all ears.
